Electromechanical Technician

Short Description:
We are looking for a proactive Electromechanical Technician with experience in the maintenance and repair of electromechanical installations and equipment, capable of diagnosing faults, applying efficient solutions, and working in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electromechanical machinery and installations.
  • Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and electronic faults using tests and diagnostic tools.
  • Repair, adjust, and assemble components such as motors, drives, control panels, sensors, actuators, bearings, pumps, presses, production lines, among others.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects, proposing changes to increase efficiency and safety.
  • Prepare intervention reports, work orders, and spare parts records.
  • Comply with safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
  • Coordinate with technicians, electricians, and operators for maintenance activities and production stoppages.

Requirements:

  • Education: Higher Technician degree in Electromechanics, Mechatronics, Electricity, Electronics, or related fields.
  • Minimum experience in electromechanical roles, preferably in the industrial sector.
  • Knowledge of: reading electrical plans and diagrams; sensors, actuators, drives, PLCs; control and automation systems; low and medium voltage electricity; fault diagnosis and use of diagnostic tools.
  • Skills: teamwork, problem-solving ability, safety orientation, organization and planning, effective communication.
  • Availability: to work shifts/rotations as required.
  • Driving license and availability to travel if applicable.

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge in robotics, industrial automation, or PLCs.
  • Experience reading hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams.
