SMT Worldwide and MSTECH Europe leads the iMAPS chapter in Spain.
iMAPS (International Microelectronics Assembly & Packaging Society) is a prominent non-profit association in the field of Advanced Microelectronics Packaging, Interconnection, and Assembly. It facilitates communication, education, and interaction among academia, industry, and government. It drives professional growth and development in the semiconductor supply chain through education, training, and networking, both in-person and via its online platform, IMAPS Academy.
MULTISMART PROJECT
MSTECH EUROPE is launching innovative patented curing technology to the market.
The MULTISMART technology utilizes multifrequency programmable LED panels for curing PCB semiconductors, as an environmentally friendly alternative to mercury lamps. Additionally, it features advanced process control through a 4.0 data capture unit and interaction with an MES system, enabling its application in both new-generation machinery and older models (smart technology for existing equipment), ensuring greater efficiency and process optimization.
This development has been made possible through collaboration with CDTI, which has provided 85% of the necessary funding to carry out the project.
The MULTISMART solution has recently been patented.
TRANSILIOT PROJECT
National Competitiveness: TRANSILIOT aims to boost national competitiveness and strengthen R&D in the generation of cutting-edge microelectronics.
The TRANSILIOT project aims to research new technological solutions in the field of flexible microelectronics, covering its entire processing chain. The goal is to develop a new generation of printed electronics devices aiming at automotive applications. As a complete technology alternative laser sources are to be experimented to cover multiple steps of manufacturing process, such as LIFT or Selective Sintering.
The consortium, coordinated by MSTECH EUROPE, consists of four leading companies: NANOGAP, MAIER, ACCENT SYSTEMS, MSTECH EUROPE, with the collaboration of the applied research and technological development center TECNALIA.
This project is financially supported by CDTI and is part of the Science and Innovation Missions Program related to the PERTE of microelectronics and semiconductors. It is part of the State Program to Catalyze Innovation and Business Leadership of the State Plan for Scientific and Technical Research and Innovation 2021-2023, within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan.
